After the sacking of Giuseppe Raffaele and after the Francesco Baldini’s arrival, Catania came back to the win column, as the red and blue team beat Avellino 3-1 at “Massimino”.
It was an intense game, with a very clear MVP. Andrea Russotto led the team, scored two goals before D’Angelo tried to put the away team close again. In the final minutes of the game, Manuel Sarao scored a penalty for the final 3-1. With this win, Catania goes to 46 points in the standings, at the sixth place.
